Sources, accuracy and corrections
Our goal is a useful starting point for local plans with a clear path back to the source.
Where listings come from
Configured automatic sources are the Bardstown Nelson Chamber of Commerce, Nelson County Public Library, My Old Kentucky Home State Park, Bernheim Forest and Scout & Scholar Brewing Co. Bernheim is nearby in Clermont. Other organizer pages provide dated manual research snapshots. Empty calendars can be healthy feeds with no upcoming listings. Visit Bardstown and other unconnected calendars are discovery links, not active imports.
The finder’s Sources & coverage panel shows configured sources, outcomes and check times. Imports preserve prior listings when a source is unavailable. See Sources & coverage for successful check dates; a check date does not guarantee availability. When a source fails, its earlier listings may remain with the earlier successful check time. A successful partial calendar read can also retain listings it did not observe.
What we publish
We normalize event names, dates, venues and admission facts. Supported organizer feeds may include short plain-text source excerpts and published attendance notes, with source links and check dates. Age and accessibility notes describe only the specific statement published by the source; omitted information remains unknown. We do not reproduce full source articles or event flyers. Reddit discussions and newsletters can help discover leads; they are not automatic feeds, and organizer facts need confirmation before an addition.
Unknown information and recurring events
Missing prices are not free. Missing times are not midnight. Broad multi-day listings do not prove an activity happens every day. Published weekly rules are shown as schedules to confirm, not guaranteed dated bookings. Duplicate detection is imperfect, especially when calendars use different event titles or venue names.
Automation and review
Software and AI-assisted development help collect and organize source information. Automated categories and labels can be wrong; the site does not claim that a person has independently checked every imported listing. Source excerpts remain attributed. Search and sharing do not replace checking the organizer’s latest page.
Request a correction
Send the Around Bardstown event URL, what needs correcting, and a link to the organizer’s current information. Please avoid sending private attendee details. We can review a source or listing; ticket purchases and refunds must go through the ticket provider. Old event links remain understandable after a listing leaves the current calendar.
